SESIONS RUNNING AT THE TOYHOUSE CENTRE
Monday 9.30-11.30 - Toyhouse Dropin & Toy Library. This is an informal Stay & Play session for families and their pre school children. The session offers an opportunity for you and your children to meet other families, play with good qualitymage apporopiate toys, borrow toys to play with at home, take part in practical activities and gain information on other local services. Monday - Young Parents Group. This is a referral only project for parents under 25 and their pre-school children to enjoy together. If you would like more information please contact the Toyhouse Centre and speak with Angela Mooney.
Tuesday - Active Play & Healthy Eating. These are courses lasting 6 weeks and running each half term for families with children under five to take part in together. The courses are play based and include a shared lunch and trips to local outside play spaces. If you are interested in attending more information is available on this site or please contact Julie Morgan at the Toyhouse centre.
Tuesday 1.30 -3.30 pm Somali Drop-in & Toy Library. This a session run by our Somali Support Worker and aimed at families with pre school children from the Somali community.
Wednesday 1-3pm Sensory Soft Play A referral only project for families where there is a pre school child with an additional or special need. Parent/carers, pre school siblings can enjoy a range of activities and sensory play and access the toy library to borrow toys to take home. If required there is a cab service is available to transport families to and from the session.
Friday 10-12noon Parent & Baby Session . A session for Parents and their children under16mth which offers a range of play and sensory opportunites for parents and their baby to enjoy together.
Saturday 10-12. Saturday Special Play Project. This is a referral only project and for families where there is a child between 2 - 7yrs with an additional or special need. Parent/careres and siblings under 7 yrs can attend and enjoy space to play and take part in activites with their families. The session has a range of toys and use of the sensory space and there is also an opportunity to borrow toys. A Cab service can transport families to and from the session is this is required.
