Training :

Toyhouse Libraries Annual Toy Library Training Course. (Introductory Level)

We provide an annual “Toy Library Training Course” to local people in which we teach the nuts & bolts of Toy Librarianship.  The course covers everything you would need to consider when setting up and running a Toy Library and there are opportunities if you are already involved to discuss issues you may be encountering. This course is an ideal first step for those setting up a Toy Library and a great way to share and gain new ideas for those already involved. The course runs for a total of 5 sessions consisting of a 2.30 hour session once a week for 5 weeks normally during February, March or April.  Everyone one who completes 4 of the 5 sessions receives a certificate of attendance.

Additionally we provide relevant in house training to staff & Toyhouse volunteers and have provided sessions for other local organizations.
